Without injured Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum, San Antonio was defeated at Staples Center, 101-89. The Spurs were 3 points behind at half time (50-47) and let go in the 4th quarter with Gasol leading the Lakers to victory in an outstanding game (21 points, 19 rebounds, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks). Before the All Star Game in Dallas at the end of the week, San Antonio is going to Denver on Thursday.
